My 2023 Spring
Hi! I’m Shiraz Nicpon, a third-year undergraduate student at San Diego State University. I’m from Anaheim, California, but I was initially born in Palo Alto, CA, and have also lived in Vista, CA. I plan on staying in California for the rest of my life, but I’m open to moving, especially if it’s the right career move for me and would make me happy. I have traveled around the U.S. and outside the country, so potentially moving away from California wouldn’t be too foreign for me. Although, I would definitely miss my family and friends.
In my free time, I love traveling, reading, painting, writing poetry, listening to music, trying out new foods, spending time with friends and family, and being outdoors, like hiking and kayaking. This year, I want to focus more on myself. This means caring for my mental health and focusing on my passions, like writing journalistic pieces, creative stories, and poetry. I’m both excited and nervous to see what the rest of the year has in store for me!
